$25 per lesson members, $30 per lesson non-members.
These easy intermediate lessons are suitable for players who would like to build on their basic bidding and card play skills. Each lesson deals with a different subject so you may attend any one of the lessons. Comprehensive notes are included.
| Lesson 1 | Overcalls and opening leads |
| 15 September | Weak and strong suit overcalls, the 1NT overcall, jump overcalls and balancing overcalls; the best opening leads and continuing the defence. |
| Lesson 2 | Takeout doubles and card combinations in defence |
| 22 September | Takeout doubles, power doubles, double rebids and balancing doubles; when to play a low, middle or high card in defence. |
| Lesson 3 | Doubles in response, discards and signals |
| 29 September | Negative doubles, penalty doubles and the penalty pass; which suit to discard, the doubleton signal and attitude signals. |
